Zoom's price is set for a global market and includes their margin, channel-partner economics, and overseas marketing budgets. We don't have those. We run on dedicated India servers using the same Nextcloud Talk + High-Performance-Backend stack large enterprises self-host. Wholesale infrastructure plus a 10% platform fee is our entire margin — printed line-by-line on every GST invoice. We're a small Bharat-built team, no middlemen.

Honest answer: it's real. People recognise the Zoom logo in a calendar invite. We work around this two ways: (1) join links open in any browser — your guest doesn't need a TCM account or download to participate, the link just works; (2) on Talk 500+ you can put your own brand on the join page. The first time someone joins via a custom-branded link, the friction is the same as a Zoom invite — only it says your company's name, not a US conferencing brand.

Most webinar pricing is built around teams that run events every week. If you run 2 product webinars a year, paying for a Zoom Pro + Large Meeting 500 add-on (₹6,076/host/mo) for 12 months to host 2 events is paying ~₹73,000 to use the tool for ~4 hours of actual event time. PAYG is honest pricing — pay only for the event you're actually running. Pre-book 48 hours out, we reserve the capacity, you get a recording + attendee list afterwards. ₹1,999 for a 500-person event vs ₹6,076/mo Zoom subscription = 3× cheaper than even one month of Zoom, with no commitment.

One-off. Each PAYG event is invoiced separately, capacity reserved on our server for your scheduled date and time, and includes recording + attendee CSV. You're not signed up for anything — it's transactional. For repeat events (more than ~3-4 per year), the yearly subscription tiers work out cheaper.

Yes. Send a public price from Zoom, Google Meet, or any provider for a comparable bundle (participant cap, recording, webinar mode). We'll meet or beat it on equivalent functionality — even if matching means we earn nothing on your account. Keeping you here long-term matters more than this quarter's margin.

Yes. We send a secure join link by email or WhatsApp. Guest clicks → joins in their browser → done. No account, no download, no install. Works on any modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) on desktop or mobile.

Auto-transcription is included on Talk 500 and Talk 1000 (English + Hindi + 8 Indian languages roadmap). Talk 100 has it as an add-on. Our model runs on dedicated infrastructure, not trained on your recordings. AI Companion-style summarisation is on roadmap for Q3 2026 — we'd rather ship it well than first.

Yes. Calendar links to Zoom meetings can be replaced one-by-one (calendar invites stay, only the join URL changes). Past Zoom recordings stay on Zoom — we don't import. New recordings live in your TCM account from day 1. Most teams switch over a 2-week window with no downtime.

On TCM Talk 500, you have hard capacity at 500 — additional joiners hit a queue and get a 'live recording starts in 2 minutes, here's the link' page. For events where overflow is likely, upgrade to Talk 1000 or use PAYG for that single event at the larger tier. We'd rather you upgrade for one event than have a bad experience for late joiners.

Workplace Professional includes 1-on-1 + small group video as a bundled feature (good for daily team calls up to ~25 participants). TCM Talk is the dedicated meeting/webinar product for larger calls (100/500/1000). If your needs are mostly daily team standups and the occasional 25-person all-hands, Workplace Pro is plenty. If you regularly run 50+ person webinars or trainings, Talk is the right tool.
