DocuSign's published price is set for a global market and includes their margin, channel-partner economics, and overseas marketing budgets. We don't have those. Our price covers wholesale signing infrastructure plus a 10% platform fee — that's our entire margin, printed line-by-line on every GST invoice. We're a small Bharat-built team, no middlemen, so we don't pretend we have any.

Yes. Electronic signatures are legally valid under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (§3A) and the Indian Evidence Act, 1872. Every envelope produces a tamper-evident audit trail and completion certificate that holds up in commercial disputes. For documents that legally require a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) — like company filings or income tax — TCM Sign Enterprise integrates with Aadhaar eSign for IT Act §3A-compliant signatures.

DocuSign caps Standard and Business Pro at 100 envelopes per user per year — works out to ~8/month before you hit a wall. We think that's the wrong unit of pricing. If you've paid for a seat, send what you need. We have a fair-use ceiling (very high — most teams never hit it) to protect against abuse, but the practical cap is your team's actual signing volume.

DocuSign and Adobe charge per SMS delivery on top of seat licenses (DocuSign: $0.40+/send, Adobe: add-on). On TCM, SMS delivery to Indian numbers is included on every paid tier. Indian phone-number signers, no extra invoice line.

Yes. Send a public price from DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or any provider for a comparable bundle (envelope volume, branding, API access). We'll meet or beat it on equivalent functionality — even if matching means we earn nothing on your account. Keeping you here long-term matters more than this quarter's margin.

Setting up signing properly takes real work — provisioning, brand setup, template migration from your old provider, training the team. Monthly billing creates churn that doesn't reward that setup investment for either side. Yearly keeps prices low and lets us focus on serving you well, not chasing month-to-month renewals.

Yes. Templates can be re-uploaded as PDFs and re-marked-up in our editor (most teams finish a 20-template migration in a working afternoon). In-flight envelopes stay on your old provider through completion. Migration help is included on Sign Enterprise and available on request for Pro.

No — Workplace Professional (₹419/user/mo) includes eSign as part of the bundle. This standalone product is for teams who only need signing (no email / drive / docs from us) or who want a higher-volume signing tier without paying for the full workspace. If you're already on Workplace Pro and signing is enough, you're set.

Yes, freely. Upgrade Lite → Pro → Enterprise any time and your templates, audit trail, and history follow. Downgrades work too — they require minor manual cleanup but won't lose your records.

We're holding off on a free tier on this product — most free signing tiers we've seen end up loss-leading the paid tiers and degrade the experience for everyone. Instead: 30-day money-back on every paid plan, so you can try with real envelopes and refund cleanly if it doesn't fit.

Not yet. It's on the Sign Enterprise roadmap (probably Q3 2026) but today, if your contract legally requires e-stamping, you'll still need to pair our signature with a stamp-paper provider. We can introduce you to one we trust.
